Here's what you need to know
| Notice on important changes to Google Pay in the U.S. | | | We've recently launched a new Google Pay app in the U.S. — a safe, simple, and helpful way to pay and manage your money. With that, we wanted to inform you about what's changing for the old app and for pay.google.com. Additionally, we are implementing new Terms of Service for your payments account. | First, starting on April 5th, the following features will no longer be available from the old app and at pay.google.com: | | | | Ability to send, request or receive money | | | | View of your recent activity or transaction history | | | | Access to or transfer of any remaining balance. You can still transfer your balance any time by using the new Google Pay app or through customer support. | | | | Second, we're taking the opportunity to simplify your relationship with Google Pay and consolidate multiple Terms of Service into one. That's why starting on April 5th, we'll also implement new Terms of Service for your payments account, which will: | | | | Add new terms for merchant interactions, rewards, and insights | | | | | Revise the minimum user age for Google Pay | | | | | Provide that certain services previously provided to you by Google Payment Corp. (GPC) will be provided by Google LLC, including the transfer of your payments profile from GPC to Google LLC. | | | You do not have to take any action as these new Terms of Service will automatically take effect for you starting on April 5th.
